Legacy – Chandler Titans Named March 2025 Athletics Program of the Month

 |  Awards, Chandler

Legacy Traditional School – Chandler has been selected as Legacy – Arizona’s Athletics Program of the Month for March 2025. This recognition reflects the success of the Legacy – Chandler sports teams and the tremendous growth of its athletics programs over the past year.

Led by a focus on team culture and student engagement, student-athletes and coaches have set a new standard on campus—one rooted in teamwork, accountability, and long-term vision.

From the beginning of the school year, the Titans have been building a program that celebrates student-athletes on and off the field. That process began with great coaches, including many former collegiate athletes, who understand the preparation, leadership, and heart required to build successful teams. On the court, the boys’ and girls’ basketball coaching staffs are composed entirely of former college basketball players—mentors with a wealth of experience and a passion for guiding young athletes.

Inside the Chandler gym, Canyon Athletics Association (CAA) Championship banners are proudly displayed. These banners honor the accomplishments of winning teams and inspire younger students who walk into the gym and say with determination, “I can’t wait to make the wall someday.”

Below are just a few highlights from the first three quarters of the 2024–25 school year:

  • Flag Football: The CAA flag football team completed a perfect 13-0 regular season and captured the first State Championship in school history. The team held the No. 1 ranking in Division 3 throughout the season and delivered a dominant postseason performance.

  • Boys Volleyball: The boys’ volleyball team advanced to the CAA State Championship and finished as the State Runner-Up, securing the first volleyball championship banner in school history. The team ended the season with an impressive 6-4 record.

  • Girls Basketball: With a 12-0 regular season record, the girls’ basketball team won its conference and maintained the top Division 3 ranking for most of the season. The Titans lost in a closely contested quarterfinal matchup to the eventual state runner-up.

  • Cross Country: The cross country program had its strongest season to date. The boys’ team earned the title of State Runner-Up, with standout performances at every meet. Titans Cross Country boasted the most student-athletes in all of CAA’s Cross Country divisions.

  • Baseball and Softball: The Titans baseball team finished the regular season at 8-1-1 and advanced to the quarterfinals, losing to the eventual State Champion. The softball team also made a quarterfinal appearance, finishing the season 5-6 in one of the CAA’s most competitive divisions.

As they prepare for the final quarter, the Titans look forward to supporting their CAA boys’ basketball and co-ed soccer teams, which are both poised for strong seasons.
